The Spinsters Union did it up at the BlogHer conference this past weekend in New York, a chance for female bloggers from all over the country to come together. We had the idea for this blog at the BlogHer Pro conference in San Jose, CA in 2013. Two years later, BlogHer ’15 was the perfect place for newbie bloggers like us to to experience amazing panelists, such as the inspirational duo behind the #blacklivesmatter revolution; top tier sponsors like Lyft, Jet, and Shea Moisture; and best of all hundreds of diverse, generous and kick ass bloggers. It feels like we’ve come full circle since 2013 and we’re looking forward to #BlogHer16!
Wondering who is in the picture with us and the wedding registry sign? Oh, that’s just R&B singer Kenny Lattimore. Kenny just launched his new CD called Anatomy of a Love Song, which prompted us to forget all about this single ladies thing and become his sister wives. NOT! It was very tempting since he was so sweet, not mention super easy on the eyes… but The Union prevailed! He was definitely one of the highlights of the conference and, below are few more of our favorite moments.
